Mat Pilates
Current Class times: Thursdays, 12:00-1:00pm
This mat-based workout with Lynne will take you through a challenging routine that will increase your strength, flexibility, and endurance. You'll discover how to isolate and activate your core abdominal muscles for maximum results. By strengthening these core abdominal muscles one can significantly decrease the occurrence of chronic low back pain and pelvic dysfunction. Small apparatus such as the fitness circle, toning balls and flexband may be added to further enhance the matwork. The class will end with a blend of relaxing yoga stretches.
The emphasis of STOTT PILATES is on precise alignment, proper breathing, and efficient sequencing of movement to create a flowing, dynamic, full-body workout.
STOTT PILATES exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints. It's the perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, sports, rehab and life. STOTT PILATES will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalized and moving with ease.
This mat class is perfect for beginners but will challenge those with Pilates experience. Lynne instructs both small group lessons, as well as, private sessions at The Wellness Solution.
Private Group Mat Classes
Create your own private group class with your friends, family, co-workers or bookclub group! It's fun, easy and cost-effective. Just pick the day and time of the week that works for you and your group. All you need is 4-6 participants!
For the golfers: Pilates on the Green
Pilates on the Green is a mat-based pilates class to enhance your golf game. These specially-designed exercises will improve your balance and flexibility while conditioning your body to engage the muscles you need to drive the ball further. The benefits of Pilates On The Green are:
