Boot Camp Yoga

Boot Camp Yoga was developed by Chiropractor and Personal Trainer, Casey Ericson, in order to enhance flexibility and balance while increasing one’s overall power and strength. Casey was hoping to draw individuals who in the past Boot Camp Yoga incorporates lightweight hand weights and resistance strength moves while moving through a serious of static yoga poses. Focusing on the breath while practicing Boot Camp Yoga, increases the mind-muscle connection and maximizes the flexibility component of this workout. Incorporating one’s flexibility and bringing balance and symmetry to your musculature is important with any sport to improve performance and reduce risk of injury. Boot Camp Yoga will shape your muscles, improve your strength and stamina, and provide you with an overall feeling of wellbeing. This is the perfect class for people who are looking to improve their flexibility but have shunned traditional yoga because they were concerned it wouldn’t be a workout. You will finish each class with your body feeling limber, toned, and restored.
Participants should bring a set of 1,2 or 3 lb weights and a yoga mat.
